Final event information released

So you've got your team together, you've entered online and can't wait for May 13th to arrive. All you need now is to check the 'Final Information for Teams' pages which are now available on the site.

They include a full kit list of what you'll need to bring, directions to the start area and all the other details about the format of the event and how it will come together.

Also remember that every person taking part needs to download and complete a consent form which needs to be signed and brought to the registration desk at the beginning of the event.

So make sure all your team members have the information, head out to the shops if you need any new kit, and start planning your strategy to become the next winners of the Apex Overnight Challenge!

Your chance to try virtual caving

If you've never tried your hand at Virtual Caving (or better still never heard of it!) then the Spring 2006 Overnight Challenge is your chance to try it out. It's one of 14 activity bases that will be available during the night of Saturday 13th May 2006 at Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. The only other clue about the task we can give you is that it involves a very large bridge and a specialist team with ladders and ropes. Hopefully that whets the appetite!

The rest of the activity bases will be made up of some old favourite activities, many with a new twist, as well as some other completely new ones which we'll tempt you with more details about nearer the event.

The bouncy castle is making a comeback as is mountain biking and canoeing.

Entries have now been coming in to Apex HQ for the past couple of months. There are still plenty of places left, but it's usually at this time that the event quickly fills up, so make sure you're not left disappointed without a place. Enter online now to book your place.

Tell your friends about the event too using the flyer below. You can right-click over it to save it and email it as a graphic to anyone you know who might like to take part.

We say it every time ... but it's always true .. the next event really will be the best yet!

2006 t-shirt design revealed

The exclusive sky-blue 2006 Apex T-shirts will be printed with a brand new unique design that's been dreamed up by our team of our top designers.

It combines the event's now familiar squares design with the new "Join the Adventure" slogan and is only available to those teams taking part in either the Overnight Challenge in May or the brand new Apex EXTREME in October.

Don't forget - you can't buy these anywhere else. You can only get one by taking part in of this year's two competitions. They cost just £5 each and are pre-ordered and paid for when you register to take part in the competiton. If you have already registered your team for the event without pre-ordering one then please contact us with details of your orders.

There'll be one or two spares available on the day, but to avoid disappointment make sure you pre-order yours on your team's online entry form.

We're able to offer you them at the fantastic price of just £5 thanks to Shawcross Printers of Wakefield who have agreed to make them up for us at a special rate. For technical reasons exact colour and design may vary slightly from those shown on computer graphics. Sizes described on the entry form are approximate.
